Just another thing Marquez is again and everyone else is for. Does this guy ever support anything? Just a negative Nancy is all the loser is. What an idiot. Sad what he-s become, I-ve seen gum on the bottom of my shoe that-s worth more than him.

Again taxation without representation. The annexed area is commercial and since they do live there they cannot vote Council members in or out. They are going to go from the County 3% to the Miami Springs 8% overnight and get nothing of any value in return. It is cheaper for the West Dade Property Owners group to fight this in court then to bend over and take it. It will be years in court and the County knows it. Our City Attorney Espino has tried to come up with some bogus sliding scale for the taxes but people as big as Dr. Pepper and John Deere know better and will fight this hard.

Sorry, but whats the big deal about this. Where ?

Nery-O know it all is wrong again
Just cause you pump enough sunshine into it does not mean it is going to happen. The same deep pockets group that stopped it last time will stop it again this time because it is taxation without representation. Land owners like Dr. Pepper, John Deere, and many other real big dogs (unlike our small clawed tin horn politicians know how to stop annexation. Momma Sosa can crow all she wants but even former City Attorney before he left said that was all wishful dreaming and nothing would come of it. Sure Pepe Diaz and Sosa would love for it to happen but the rest of the commissioners is not really on board. They got stopped by an army of silk suited attorneys which have grown in size to role over these clowns at the County. It was not any because of any phony recession that stopped them last time, as the Freedom Fighters were part of that stop the annexation effort. It was an organization that cost $5,000 per member just to join it. It was very effective and was just waiting for the signal to come back to life. Thank You Momma Sosa for providing that spark of life needed to start warming up the silk suits. We would rather have our Council all dressed up and no place to go then the reverse. Did you finally learn anything Nery-O know it not all....hahahahaha

Garcia?? Is he still here? Isn-t he done. Shouldn-t he be driving his golf cart around springs like an uber noe

Beautiful Miami Springs is a quiet residential community located in the heart of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Literally, just minutes away from anything in Miami, it's a slow paced oasis within the larger hustle and bustle of greater Miami.

Miami Springs was founded in 1926 by Glenn Curtiss, also known as the "Father of Naval Aviation." Miami Springs is a middle to upper middle class neighborhood with a mix of blue collar and white collar workers. At the core of Miami Springs is a championship style 18 hole golf course that has hosted hundreds of tournaments and celebrities alike.

Miami Springs has a mix of homes ranging from modest to luxury. Most of the larger, luxury style homes can be found along the beautiful golf course.

Miami Springs has a row of hotels along NW 36 Street, adjacent to Miami International Airport. The proximity to the airport and the 10 - 15 minute distance to the Port of Miami Cruise Ships and South Beach makes Miami Springs a popular hotel destination for tourists from all across the globe.

MiamiSprings.com was created in 1997 by local businessman and Miami Springs resident, Nestor Suarez. Nestor loved the city he grew up in and created the first website dedicated to the Miami Springs and Virginia Gardens area. To this day, Mr. Suarez still operates the website providing local news, events, updates, and photos. The website also has a popular (and sometimes controversial) political forum where anyone can discuss current local issues, politics, ideas.
